Learn the Art of Coffee Cupping
About The Workshop
Hi Learners! Heighten your senses by exploring varieties of aroma that a single cup of Arabica coffee can produce. The nose is a powerful tool to identify the possible taste notes before taking a sip. Did you know that the aroma profiles may not necessarily be similar to the taste notes?
Sweetness, earthy and floral – these are just some of the many descriptions used to describe a cup of coffee. Arabica beans are complex, filled with many flavour profiles and undergo an interesting process to identify all of the taste notes.
Every cup of coffee has a body, a character which describes the level of mouthfeel after taking a sip. Low, medium and rich body – what do these words mean? Some coffees possess a rich body; an even spread throughout the tongue and some coffees possess a low body in which the taste disappears quickly after taking a sip. What do you waiting for?
