Hi Learners! Have any plan in the weekend? Let’s try tatting lace and make a pair of lovely earring! Tatting has been known as a technique of handmade lace for centuries. By creating knots & loops using shuttle we can make a delicate & lovely Jewelries or even some house decorations. The challenging part will be working with very thin yarn. In this workshop, you are going to understand the basic of tatting and try it hands-on the lace pattern and of course make knots as well as playing with beads! ABOUT THE TEACHER(S)
Coming from my grandmother’s legacy who loves knitting, I started to love handmade. I found out about tatting lace when I was still in college (2007). So, I started to explore it. It’s not easy, but I love it. I’ve learned that lace isn’t just about machine made or a piece of fabric. Lace can be handmade in so many interesting ways.

- A pair of tatting shuttle for each participant
- 20 m Special DMC threads
- Box of beads
- Chrochet hook for lace (0.6 mm/ 0.5 mm)
- Cork & needles
